How does on-prem AI help with NPI and carrier requirements?

Keeping non-public personal information on systems you control — rather than transmitting it to a third-party model — removes an entire category of exposure and is easy to document for a carrier or an examiner. We map exactly where data lives and how it flows.

Can the model train on our policyholders’ data?

No. On a local deployment there’s no outside provider to retain or train on your data; the model answers your prompts and nothing else. You own the model and the infrastructure.

Do we have to send anything to the cloud?

No. The deployment runs on hardware in your office and works offline. Low-sensitivity tasks can run in the cloud if you want, but policyholder data stays in the building.

Will our carriers be comfortable with this?

Keeping data on-site is generally an easier story than “we sent it to a third-party AI service.” We give you clear documentation of the architecture so you can answer carrier and audit questions directly.

Is this affordable for a small agency?

Yes. We scope to the size of the agency, and a local model has no per-seat or per-transaction usage bill, so the economics tend to favor agencies that use AI across quoting and service.
